Now Hiring: Operations Director

Position Summary: The Operational Director will work towards the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California’s mission to advance and protect Latine Health in California. This position will work closely with the Deputy Director and Executive Director in support of day-to-day department and team management, organization-wide events, operations, and department-level budgets. The position will primarily focus on administrative tasks but will also involve several overlapping projects with the finance and development teams.

Now Hiring: Sr. Policy Manager

Position Summary: The Senior Policy Manager will work to advance the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California’s mission to advance and protect Latine Health in California through strategic policy design and advocacy. This position will manage multiple policy initiatives under the guidance of the LCHC Policy Director. The role will support department strategy, coalition management, policy strategy, and campaign implementation. Ideal candidate will be based in Sacramento.

Health Justice Fellowship:

About the fellowship: LCHC is committed to inspiring and training the next generation of health advocates and policy experts. Through our LCHC Health Justice Fellowship Program, we seek undergraduate, graduate students and recent graduates to work with one of LCHC’s departments. This opportunity is uniquely designed to lift up young professionals interested in the healthcare & public health policy arenas, especially those from Latinx, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, immigrant, and first-generation backgrounds.

The Health Justice Fellows are hosted within the following departments:

  • Programs: Fellows with interests in community-centered programming, organizing, and advocacy.
  • Communications: Fellows with interests in public relations, social media management, graphic design, and digital advocacy.
  • Fellows with interests in health policy research, advocacy, coalitions, and government affairs.
