“EL CENTRO — The Imperial Valley Social Justice Committee brought community voices together on Wednesday, August 13, for a Regional Roundtable Conversation on Healthcare, held at the Second Baptist Church Social Hall. The event was part of a statewide series of workshops aimed at identifying disparities and improving access to healthcare for underrepresented communities.
Hosted in partnership with the Imperial Valley Equity Coalition, Health Access California, Latino Coalition for a Healthy California, TransLatin@ Coalition, and the California Pan-Ethnic Health Network, the gathering drew 38 members of the African American community and local organizations.”
