The Latino Coalition for a Healthy California (LCHC) Announces New Podcast: ¡A Tu Salud!
The podcast focuses on issues of Latine and Indigenous health policy and centers on the stories of California leaders driving change in healthcare, public health, and public policy.
LCHC is thrilled to announced the launch of a new podcast, ¡A Tu Salud!, the definitive podcast for Latine & Indigenous health policy. Through this podcast, we intentionally create a space for Latine & Indigenous leaders to share the stories and life-long journeys guiding their commitment to the community. We hope that our conversations will connect us de corazón a corazón and spark collective action toward policy and system transformation in our pursuit of health justice.
In season one, in line with our LCHC vision of a healthy and equitable California for all, our host and LCHC’s Executive Director, Dr. Seciah Aquino, dives deep in conversation with our partners and fellow CA leaders driving change in healthcare, public health, and public policy. Each episode explores the ultimate million-dollar question—how can we finally achieve Health Equity in California?
“At the heart of justice work is a deep and personal commitment to bettering the lives of our communities. This passion is shaped through our own life journeys, families, and challenges we’ve overcome,” says Dr. Aquino, “It is all too easy to get caught up in the arduous day-to-day efforts of fighting systems and creating policy change. For these reasons, our podcast will intentionally create a space to center on the experiences, beliefs, and stories that move us and fuel our vision for this work. Let’s get to know the inspiring good trouble makers, luchando for justice, and transforming our state along the way!”
¡A Tu Salud! is a video and audio experience consisting of twelve 30-50 minute-long episodes airing twice a month beginning Wednesday, July 10th. You can find our podcast available for audio streaming on Spotify , Amazon Music , and Apple Podcasts, with the full video component on YouTube.
