Join the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California for Diabetes & Latinos: A Community Forum, a *free* community event.

After successful community forums last year in Fresno, Stockton, Berkeley, Santa Ana, and Baldwin Park, we’ll be back to spread the word about type 2 diabetes in southern California this March.
We’re talking about an urgent issue: 1 in 2 Latino kids will get diabetes in their lifetimes unless things change.  Learn why diabetes has become so common among Latinos, what California groups are doing to prevent it, and how you and your neighbors can join in.  This forum is ideal for community members concerned about diabetes and healthy food access, promotoras/community health workers, teachers, parents, local leaders – all are welcome.
