The Latino Health Alliance held its 4rth Annual Legislative Briefing on May 26, 2005 at the state capitol. Members of the Latino Health Alliance presented on specific legislative and budget proposals impacting Latino health, including the Medi-Cal Redesign, CalWORKs/SSI, Office of Binational Border Health, the Medicare Modernization Act and legislation on children’s health coverage and obesity.
